You cannot leave Cluj-Napoca without going up to Cetățuia Hill for a delightful view and an open-air bar. At the top of the hill, there is a fortification built during the Habsburg period. It was built with star-shaped walls, with 5 corner bastions, 3 gates, and a defensive moat.
For a piece of silence, close to the city center, there is the Central Park. It is a great place for relaxing, walking, lying on the grass, running, or just hammock under trees shadows. Here is placed the entrance of the “UNTOLD Festival” and it hosts lots of yearly events, like “Jazz in the Park”.
